The focus of the ESL Experiential Learning 1 course to bridge classroom learning and real-world communication. Students learn and practice language learning and communication strategies to plan and carry out individual projects that will help them meet specific language learning goals related to a workplace, academic or personal setting of their choice. Projects are related to real-world experiences, such as employment in a field related to a learner's career, volunteer work, community-based service learning projects, or completion of an academic course.
